Memory
A memory is the fundamental building block of your knowledge base: a distilled piece of insight, finding, or concept that you want to preserve and connect with your broader understanding. Unlike raw notes, memories are refined knowledge units optimized for intelligent retrieval and relationship discovery.
Thread
A thread represents a complete conversation sequence between you and an AI agent. Importing threads is optional: use this feature when you want to preserve the full conversational context and flow, or when you plan to distill multiple insights from a single conversation in batch.
Nowledge Graph
The Nowledge Graph is a hyper-connected knowledge graph that intelligently links memories, threads, messages, and extracted entities through meaningful relationships. This graph-based architecture forms the foundation of Nowledge Mem, enabling you to discover patterns and connections across your entire knowledge base that would be invisible in traditional linear note-taking systems.
Augmentation
Augmentation enhances your memories beyond basic indexing. While memories are automatically indexed for keyword (BM25) and semantic (vector) search, you can optionally apply advanced processing:
- Knowledge Graph Extraction: Identify entities, concepts, and relationships within your memories
- Graph Algorithms: Discover communities, patterns, and clusters in your knowledge
- Neural Networks (coming soon): Advanced analysis for classification and link prediction
