AI Now is the AI assistant connected with your context within Nowledge Mem on top of a Claude-Code like advanced agent system, with omakase built-in skills and plugins.
With the super advanced agent system, which excels at reasoning, code-gen problem solving and file analysis, deep research capabilies and finally, all memories of yours, combined with carefully tuned skills and plugins, AI-Now is your "Alfred like" supper assistant that handles middle to long run compelx tasks with ease, and it knows more and more.
Requirements
AI Now requires a configured Remote LLM.
Go to Settings → Remote LLM to set up, refer to Remote LLM for details.

Getting Started
Configure Remote LLM
Go to Settings → Remote LLM and add your API key.
Open AI Now
Click the AI Now tab in the sidebar, or press Cmd/Ctrl + 5.
Start a Task
Ask anything. AI Now automatically searches your memories when relevant:
What architecture decisions have I made about caching?
It finds relevant memories, do web searching, connected note(notion, obsidian, apple notes, etc.) searching when needed or you explicitly ask for it, and finally, synthesize the findings into a coherent answer.
Or, you can:
- Drop a folder of files to the AI Now chat for instant analysis.
- Ask AI Now to analyze your work of the last month, and generate a report into a docs or a slides.
- Perform a study on a specific topic.
AI-Now will fully leverage its capabilities and your context to help you with your tasks, yet, update or create memories when needed.
Refer memories in your chat
You can refer to memories in your chat by using the @ to search memories and mention them in your answer.
Deep Research
For comprehensive research, AI Now schedules sub ageent tasks on searching from multiple sources and synthesizes findings.
Enable Deep Research
Click the Research toggle in AI-Now chat interface to enable deep research.
How It Works

AI Now will:

You can also attach entire folders to analyze multiple files at once.

Toggle the Presentation SKILL in AI-Now Plugins to enable Presentation Creation capabilities.
Creating Slides
Create a presentation based on our above study and research, include some charts or diagrams to support the insights
AI Now generates slides with proper structure, charts, and insights, and this is the similar request based on above data analysis on creating a presentation.
Editing
After generation, refine with follow-up requests:
- "Make the third slide more visual"
- "Add a slide about customer segments"
- "Simplify the conclusion"
Or, click the Edit button to edit the presentation.
Exporting
Click the PPTX button to download as PowerPoint (.pptx) for use in other tools.

Custom MCP Plugins
AI Now supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for custom integrations.
Go to AI Now → Plugins → Custom Plugins
Click Add MCP Server
Configure the server (stdio command or HTTP endpoint)
Click Test Connection to verify
Enable the plugin
MCP plugins with OAuth (like GitHub, Slack) are automatically detected and will prompt you to authorize.
Session Management
Your AI Now conversations are automatically saved.
- Resume anytime Click a previous session to continue
- Multiple sessions Work on different topics in parallel
- Session context Each session maintains its own conversation history
Auto-Approve Mode
For faster workflows, enable Auto to skip confirmation prompts for file operations and other actions.
Use with caution
Auto-Approve grants AI Now permission to take actions without asking. Only enable for trusted workflows.

- Be specific "What did we decide about the database migration last month?" works better than "database stuff"
- Attach context Drop files or mention notes with
@to give AI Now more to work with - Enable relevant skills Turn on only the skills you need for cleaner responses
- Use sessions Create separate sessions for different projects or topics
